Founded in 2022 by gmoney, 9dcc subscribes to the familiar ideals of historic luxury fashion houses and simultaneously reinterprets the codes of luxury and sophistication. The name reflects the web3 spirit at the heart of the brand - the cryptic letter and number set represents the last four digits of the Ethereum wallet of the House from which all product expressions of the brand will be born.

# Product Claim - Quick Start Guide

Tap the 9

To access the NFC chip, simply use your phone to tap the chip that is located on the 9 logo patch on any 9dcc product.&#x20;

Step 1: If using an iPhone to tap, sleep and wake the phone, unlock and then tap on the upper third of the back of the phone to the 9 logo, its the same process you would use for Apple Pay.

For Android devices, first make sure the NFC functionality is turned on in quick drop down settings on the home screen. Tap the middle of the back of the phone to the 9. This is the same process you would use for Google Pay.

# 9dcc ITERATION-01 Looks

The 9dcc ITERATION-01 looks NFTs are a visual homage to crypto culture, featuring some of web3's most beloved personalities. Photos were shot by **Justin Aversano**

This NFT was previously used as the entry key to claim the ITERATION-01 9dcc lux tee after a Snapshot was taken in October of 2022. Holders of the Looks tokens were airdropped a 4k Token corresponding to the garment size chosen during the sale.&#x20;

Holders of this airdropped token are able to claim the physical garment on the 4k Protocol website: <https://app.4k.com/>

**NOTE:** Although the looks NFT is still part of the 9dcc ecosystem, it no longer eligible for the physical garment after the Snapshot was taken and the 4k tokens airdropped.&#x20;

In its current form, the Looks NFT is an amazing photo collection and is still eligible for membership to the 9dcc family.

During the sale, each Admit One token was guaranteed to be able to mint a maximum of one looks NFT, with six options to choose from.&#x20;

Once the 48 hour period passed, a second mint window where the remainder of the supply was able to be purchased by Admit One holders over another 24 hour period

A **snapshot** was taken in October of 2022 of all looks NFT holders for an airdrop of a 4k Vaulted Token. This token is the physical redemption token used to claim the physical garment. This token can also be traded on secondary exchanges.

# ITERATION-02

Launched in December of 2022 at a pop up event in Miami during Art Basel, ITERATION-02 is a collaboration between 9dcc and Erick Calderon AKA Snowfro, Art Blocks founder and creator of the Chromie Squiggle.

Utilizing the Art Blocks Engine and State of the Art printing equipment, ITERATION-02 celebrates a merging of on-chain generative art and custom physical garment creation on demand.&#x20;

ITERATION-02 is for enthusiasts of both luxury products and generative art.&#x20;

The iconic Chromie Squiggle algorithm was remixed with 9dcc’s visual identity as a collection of randomly generated NFTs. Each holder received a unique 1 of 1 physical 9dcc tee featuring their newly minted NFT printed directly on the garment.

After the 5 day pop-up event, All Admit One holders were given a window to mint an ITERATION-02 9dcc x Snowfro via virtual mint.

## The Virtual Mint - Proof of Mint

Elegantly merging the Physical and Virtual mints required some creative thinking

We wanted all 9dcc x Snowfro ITERATION-02 mints to be on the same contract whether or not you bought it at the pop up event or virtually. But getting there was not so easy.

In order for this to work, all virtual buyers purchased a Proof of Mint token. The Proof of Mint number correspond directly with the number of the mint from the original contract.

After all garments were manufactured and sent to the 4k vault, owners of the Proof of Mint could burn their token to receive the physically redeemable product just like we did with ITERATION-01.

Proof of Mint tokens do include a link to their generated artwork, are tradeable on secondary markets and are able to be burned for a physical vaulted token.

We encourage all holders of Proof of Mint tokens to burn their tokens to receive their vaulted tokens

## How to Burn your Proof of Mint

Step 1: Navigate to <https://legacy.9dcc.xyz/burn>

Step 2: Connect wallet that contains your Proof of Mint token(s)

Step 3: Perform the transaction to burn the tokens and recieve your ITERATION-02 Vaulted tokens.

Step 4: Use the ITERATION-02 Vaulted Token to claim and ship the physical garment to your home. Visit <https://vault.4k.com/> and connect using the wallet that holds the Vaulted NFT.

Note: The Vaulted ITERATION-02 garments has been pre-paid for a two (2) year period. The metadata for the time remaining of the vault will be embedded within the 9dccITERATION-02 Vaulted token.

## The Drop

ITERATION-03 dropped live in person in NYC during NFT NYC on April 12th 2023 which also corresponded to the kickoff of the 9dcc IRL treasure hunt that took place that same week.

The hat was a free giveaway to anyone who attended our pop up stations throughout NYC and participated in the Treasure Hunt.

ITERATION-03 was was guaranteed redeemable for free online to all Admit One holders ahead of the NYC pop-up.

Redemption for Admit One holders went live March 24 2023 for 48hrs

## NYC Treasure Hunt Activation

The 9dcc treasure hunt kicked off on April 12th 2023 at a Bodega, the humblest and most essential of NYC institutions.

The 9dcc treasure hunt took place across a number of NYC locations with each stop requiring participants to visit the location where they received a commemorative POAP and NYC-centric pin designed by **Snuffy**.&#x20;

As with any treasure hunt, there was the chance of winning prizes through a prize pool including the grand prize of an "unminted" Chromie Squiggle by Snowfro

Dropped during Paris Fashion Week on June 21st 2023, The 9dcc x Stapleverse collaboration introduces a limited edition luxury baseball cap that seamlessly merges streetwear fashion with digital collectibles in collaboration with Jeff Staple.&#x20;

For over 25 years, Jeff Staple has been a streetwear icon and a creative visionary with work encompassing graphic design, fashion design, footwear design, and brand marketing. He is the founder of REED ART DEPARTMENT (f.k.a. Staple Design) and has worked on creative projects ranging from startup brands to Fortune 100 companies. Jeff founded STAPLE in 1997, the NY-based pioneering streetwear brand with the now infamous “Pigeon” logo. He also founded experiential lifestyle boutique, REED SPACE in 2001.

For customers who bought online, they had the option to vault the product directly with 4K for an additional fee.

Any customer that had purchased in person or chose to have it physically received as well as went through the process of claiming the “Certificate of Authenticity” to a wallet were eligible to receive a the Stapleverse Sapienz NFT airdrop at the time of a wallet Snapshot&#x20;

Caps that were vaulted during the time of airdrop were NOT be eligible for the Sapienz airdrop.

The Stapleverse Sapienz NFT avatar collection was special in the fact that it used a newer ERC 6551 Ethereum contract standard which is special in the fact that it includes an embedded wallet to allow for other NFT "Add Ons"

## CryptoPunk

1 of the 2,750 9dcc Black Boxes contains a CryptoPunk. Drawing occurs upon completion of physical product redemptions on Friday, February 7th at 12:00 PM EST. For those that do not know, Punks are highly coveted 10,000 unique collectible characters and artwork with proof of ownership stored on the Ethereum blockchain.

The project that inspired the modern CryptoArt movement. CryptoPunks are one of the earliest and most iconic examples of "Non-Fungible Tokens” minted on Ethereum and inspired the ERC-721 standard, which powers most digital art and collectibles onchain.

## The Phases

**PHASE 1: THE MINT:** Primary sale begins December 18th on OpenSea. Mint Leaderboard goes live, tracking the race for rank-based point rewards, including 20,000 Network Points for rank #1. OpenSea XP will be awarded to the wallet used to mint the 9dcc Black Box NFT. The allocation and award date will be confirmed in the near future.

**PHASE 2: THE ANTICIPATION:** Unrevealed boxes unlock for trading. Trade freely while the mystery remains. One box holds a Punk. All boxes hold value.

**PHASE 3: THE REVEAL:** Select your sizes and reveal your Black Box NFT contents beginning Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 on 9dcc.xyz. The Black Box opens and transforms into a Vaulted token which is now ready to be shipped to home or traded on the secondary market.

**PHASE 4: REDEMPTION:** Product redemption window opens on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025. Redemptions for physical products begin, allowing holders to ship the physical product to an eligible address, connect the wallet holding this NFT on the claim page and follow all required steps, including providing personal identifiable information. Free standard shipping is included in the mint price incuding International Shipping. Please refer to the Redemption FAQs for full details.

**PHASE 5: THE DEADLINE**: The final cut-off for all redemptions is 11:59 PM EST on Friday, January 31, 2025. Secure your products before the window closes. Unredeemed boxes will no longer be eligible for redemptions or benefits.

**PHASE 6: THE DRAW**: The CryptoPunk drawing is on Friday, February 7 (12:00 PM EST). The winner will be drawn from the pool of total redeemed products. To be eligible, ensure you have redeemed the physical product to an eligible address before 11:59 PM EST on January 31st, 2025.

The chips have unique encryption keys and emit dynamic, expiring links, so you can be sure that you are accessing authenticated content from a genuine product.

At its core, the chip holds the "certificate of authenticity" of each individual product.

Tapping the chip does not only give you a way to claim and verify ownership of a product, but it also contains many custom modules that can be activated to engage with the products.

## How to "Check-In" a 9dcc Product into an IRL Event

**How it works:**&#x20;

After getting entering into any Tokenproof event, you will have 10 mins to tap your 9dcc chip on any product using the Tokenproof NFC scanner directly within the app. Simply hit check-in and follow the instructions:

Our marketplace aggregates all the listings from all marketplaces, and puts them in one centralized location to make it easier to buy and sell 9dcc assets. There are no marketplace fees for any assets listed natively on our marketplace.

For the marketplaces that don’t have creator royalties, they are added on to the purchase price to honor creator royalties.

Launching a marketplace for 9dcc assets by itself isn’t enough. We want to incentivize the community to actively trade on there.

In integration with our Network Points system, the framework we will use is:&#x20;

1\) Assets traded on any platform where the full creator royalties are paid will receive a full allocation of points.&#x20;

2\) Assets traded on <https://www.9dcc.market/> will receive bonus points for trading it on the native marketplace front end.

3\) Assets traded on any platform that doesn’t honor royalties will receive zero points and be ineligible for benefits.

We have built a [royalty checker](/the-9dcc-market/royalty-checker) directly within your 9dcc profile settings page to check any products you own for royalties paid. If royalties were not paid on a purchase we allow for owners to pay any royalties owed to gain back Network Points.

We always encourage anyone making any purchases in the 9dcc ecosystem to use our verified marketplace as it has 0 marketplace fees and always includes creator royalties.

Any Admit One or 9dcc asset purchased from a royalty-free marketplace will be ineligible for Network Points. The Royalties dashboard will show you any outstanding royalties due within your profile, and how to remedy in order to be eligible for Network Points for these assets.

Admit One is a 1,000-member community carefully curated by gmoney and launched as a free mint

There were two allow lists for this mint. The first allow list is a hand-curated group of members that will bring additional diversity, insights, and value to this community. The second allow list includes a specific selection of gmoney issued POAP holders and Wolf Game housegmoney OG stakers who've supported him from Day 1. Claiming was only open to these previous supporters.

# Admit One Manifesto

## Manifesto

In April of 2021, our community put CryptoPunks on billboards throughout Miami.

The exhibition, presented through Save Art Space, was titled ‘Pixelated’. It was at the opening party for this initiative–when most of the world still had no idea what an NFT was–that I experienced a tectonic shift in my thinking. Up until that moment, I considered my CryptoPunk gambit just a trade. I had made a calculated bet that would pay very well if I was correct and knew exactly how much was at risk if I was wrong.

But after that opening event, it became clear that something more important was happening. I became convinced that crypto culture would eventually permeate mainstream culture and some of the most influential brands on the planet would be born out of this space. This was no longer just a trade for me. Even though I didn't know how I was going to do it, I knew right then and there that I would build a community that embraced this cultural phenomena. And I would do it slowly, deliberately, and in broad daylight.

So I went to work.

I held a 3-day POAP event at Bitcoin Miami that June. All you had to do was go to the location that I had tweeted about and collect the POAP I created. Next, I began issuing POAPs to people that listened to my podcast live. I also started offering POAPs to people I met throughout my travels.

Later in December, these POAP holders were rewarded with exclusive access to a coveted allow list for the adidas ‘Into The Metaverse’ NFT. Of all the high-profile partners on the project, my community was the only one where you could access the drop without having already purchased an NFT.

You just needed to have been an active participant in my community.

In January of 2022, I began discussions in earnest with my team about the best way to launch an NFT for my community. The timing wasn't right, but I believed that by the middle of the year I would have all of the right pieces in place. Knowing that there would most likely be a ton of demand for very limited supply, our team spent months discussing the best mechanics, pricing structure, and distribution methods with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Ultimately, I chose to go with a free mint.

My reasoning:

First, I want the community to decide on the right value for the token, not some arbitrary price that we set.

Second, I want to fully align my incentives with those of the community. By taking no profit from the mint, we are all in the same boat together – not 95%, but 100%.

Third, I want to reward my POAP holders (i.e., the people who have believed in me from the very start). Some may call this foolish. I call it loyalty.

But most importantly, we are paying homage to CryptoPunks, which I believe is the most historically significant NFT project in existence. As many may not know, The CryptoPunks were also free to claim at the time of mint.

As there are only 1,000 spots in the Admit One drop, I wanted to be very thoughtful as to how I would distribute the tokens to such an intimate group.

* The first 11 Admit One tickets will be airdropped to the 11 wallets that own all 3 of the Bitcoin Miami NFT's, in the order that they completed the set. These people spent multiple hours across multiple days to support me at the very beginning and for that I am forever grateful.
* 200 guaranteed spots will be allocated to a hand-selected group of people who I think will be valuable members of the community at genesis. From this list, 59% are women involved in the NFT space.
* 698 spots are available for 1251 wallets that are eligible from the POAP list.
* 60 spots for the partners/team members that helped me execute this vision.
* 30 spots for future distribution.
* Any remaining NFT's after the mint closes will be used for future distribution.

Concurrently, I am launching a zero-fee marketplace for all things related to the gmoney brand. To start, it will list the adidas ‘Into The Metaverse’ NFT, the gmoney Brick Breaker game by gm420, and my Admit One NFT. From this marketplace, you will be able to see listings across OpenSea, LooksRare, and the official gmoney market. Only listings that are listed on the gmoney market will be zero fee, as the others will charge their respective fees to transact on their marketplaces.

The reasoning behind building a gmoney marketplace is based on where I see the space evolving over time. I want a marketplace where people can transact without the fear of getting scammed by fake collections. I also want to provide our community members with a very intimate, curated experience encompassing all of the hallmarks of the gmoney experience.

As the space grows, I know that I will have company – plenty of it. In fact, many brands will pour substantial resources into developing their own curated marketplaces and experiences. Why do I believe this? Because I have studied how consumers have shopped over the last 100 years. I've examined how department stores and boutiques have operated and evolved in the real world. I've looked at how websites have gone from being clumsy digital storefronts to highly curated experiences. I don't anticipate Web3 to be any different. We will move away from the superstore/supersite model and towards intimate settings that have a unique look, feel, and ethos.

So why launch Admit One now?

It's simple. Prices may be down, but I believe the fundamental thesis behind NFTs is stronger than ever. Digital asset ownership rights are fundamental to freedom in an increasingly digital world and they must be protected through distributed, immutable ledgers not controlled by any one person or group.

My goal for Admit One is to be a community of like-minded people who understand how critical it is to disrupt traditional industries and increase adoption of cryptographic technologies. This community will be a center for participation in all things that I work on going forward. I ask that you participate in this community, not because you think you'll make money right away, but because you believe in my vision and want to join me to see what the future brings.

I will not make superficial promises about what I will do for the community. Instead, I ask you to look at my track record. I know that my best work lies ahead of me and I hope that you believe that too.

Instead of sharing a roadmap of things to come, I have written a list of observations I have made throughout my short time on this planet that might give you insight into how I plan to operate the community.

1. Always act with integrity.
2. Live in the present moment.
3. Go outside and walk – a lot.
4. Do something kind for a stranger.
5. Remember that if everyone likes you, you're doing something wrong.
6. Travel.
7. Always opt for Joe's Pizza, no matter what time of the day it is.
8. Practice gratitude.
9. Do dope shit with dope people.
10. Trust the universe to take care of you.
11. Create the world you want to live in.
12. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
13. Keep an open mind.
14. Never forget that emotions will still be the same, no matter how technology advances.
15. Fall in love. Less is more, except when it comes to love.
16. Don't maximize leverage.
17. Remember that life happens for you, not to you.
18. Believe that you are the hero of your own story.
19. Expect good things to come, not when you want them, but when you're ready for them.
20. Make your vision board. Make sure to hit every aspect of your life. Share it with someone.
21. Take calculated risks.
22. Trust your gut. It's smarter than your brain.
23. Never stop learning.
24. Figure out something you'd do for free. Find a way to get paid to do it.
25. Keep your mouth shut when you don't have anything nice to say.
26. Don't be afraid to fail.
27. Be humble.
28. Un-stifle your creativity.
29. Try to find win-win scenarios. They are always the best ones.
30. Learn from your mistakes.
31. Maintain serenity above everything else.
